Salem\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0research and teaching interests in the field of international relations are focused on five areas: international relations theory and practice, foreign policy making of the major powers, Middle East politics, international political economy, and diplomacy. His primary research concentration is on contemporary international issues and ongoing developments in international politics and economics. In this context, he has served as a political analyst to a number of television news networks and is hosted periodically on their newscasts and political programs, including on ANB (Arabic News Network), Aljazeera English, and Aljazeera Arabic. Academically, Dr. Naim Salem is the co-founder of the Department\/Faculty of International Affairs and Diplomacy at Notre Dame University-Lebanon since 1993, has continuously contributed to the development of the Faculty\u2019s curricula and various programs\/departments, and has taught, at NDU alone, more than 30 different undergraduate and graduate courses\/subjects, and supervised dozens of Master\u2019s theses.
