Jean Maalouf, Ph.D., Ph.D.,, (Born April 27, 1939) Lebanese Author of many articles and books, currently resides in New Milford. Jean Maalouf holds a doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Paris-Sorbonne. He is best known for his studies in spirituality, education, and various philosophical and social issues. He is a member of the American Teilhard Association.
Jean Maalouf, is the author of more than thirty books that include the fourteen books of The Healing Power Series with translations into Spanish and Portuguese. Also, he has written many articles on topics of religion, spirituality, mysticism (Eastern and Western), philosophy, psychology, and peace and social issues for journals and magazines such as Catholic Digest, Celebration, National Herald (New Delhi), Peace Research Reviews (Canada), Praying, Revue des Sciences Philosophiques et Théologiques(Paris), Spirit & Life, Spiritual Life, Teilhard Perspective. He is a member of several professional associations that include American Academy of Religion, American Teilhard Association, Association des Amis de P. Teilhard de Chardin (Paris), The Authors Guild, Contemplative Outreach, Centering Prayer, National Writers Union, Fellowship of Catholic Scholars, and The Society of Christian Philosophers.
The messages in Dr. Maalouf’s writings seem deeply personal as if they were written just for the person who is reading them, and yet, they are timeless and universal.
